WTC GIFT City- Smart City Towards ultra-modern India

Imagine a city that runs on ultra-modern technology; a city which is completely Wi-Fi enabled and has fascinating technologies like motion sensors and face recognition; where your office is just a walk away and security and surveillance systems are fully automated. All these features seem to be ahead of our time but this is going to be a reality in India by the next decade. Recently, World Trade Centre organization announced the most awaited project in the proposed GIFT city Gujarat. It is located at a distance of 11 kms from Gandhinagar, the capital city of Gujarat. Headquartered in New York, World Trade Centre organization is a premier real estate firm. GIFT city stands for Gujarat International Finance Tech City that is proposed by Gujarat Government.

WTC Gift City is a hi-tech concept of establishing a venture to set-up different MNCs. It is totally a unique project which will mainly focus on financial sections like diamonds and technology and works on the principle of sustainable development. GIFT City features special economic zones, entertainment zones, hotels, education zone and Software Technology Parks of India (STPI) units. Development of Smart Cities is a major step towards a better India. GIFT City is a smart city project being developed in Ahmedabad.  With substantial steps taken towards digitization and modernization of the country, it seems that the new government led by Mr. Narendra Modi will be able to transform India from a ‘developing to a developed country’.
